In my haste to leave work I wrote a one line response that misrepresented my position (but I'm sure writing a clarification while standing on a crowded bus will clear things up:(

I do not advocate replacing the traditional resume with something creative. I think in some instances it is okay to ADD to the resume something else that is fun. Do it if you strongly suspect that the person reading your resume, is open to the idea. Do not do it if you think you're bad at being creative.

On a final note until tomorrow, I'd recommend googling 'graphic artist' and 'resume' and checking out the image results. I know this is a completely different profession, but you'd be amazed at what some people produce.
