Yeah, "curated news" is a new buzzword for sites like Paper.li, Scoop.it and Storify. It's what you're doing on Tech Writer This Week too, so congratulations on your new "curator" title. 8-)

I've been seeing "curate" increasingly used as a verb in the sense of "to pick items of high quality and/or interest".
