...I've just ordered it ... I'll tell you on Tuesday how I like it...

And... I like it a lot!

The keys take a bit more force than the Apple's, but if anything are springier! The keys are quite close together, especially when compared to the 2005 PS2-connector Microsoft Natural Multimedia 1.0a with the "J" key's worn away tactile ridge -- you know, those big wavy clunky things:

It was "ergo" in its way, but nothing compared to the newer models of things!

(Hmm; never realized how unsentimental I am about the tools of my trade; they do seem worthy of greater affection :-)

The reviews (on Staples' site) mentioned that it can't boot to BIOS (but I've got a laptop so I can just use its keyboard), should be reconfigured for using it to wake a hibernating PC, and doesn't work (I think at all) with Dells. Those seem like pretty big issues, but just by chance aren't applicable for me.

But if it works in your system and you like this sort of keyboard feel, it's very nice!

(Happily typing away with the lights at evening, not office level, and yet I can easily see the illuminated keys :-))
