Subject: Page or screen?

Recently, one of the new employees pointed out to me at work that I should
be referring to the different screens in our system as pages.
The system is web-based. Users need to open their browsers, type in the
address of their company's database and log in to the system.

Once logged in clicking on X would open the Y screen.

This was the terminology used in the help documentation before I arrived,
and it did not occur to me to change it. At the same time, I am not sure my
coworker is right. A web-based system, or web application is not the same
thing as a web-site. Once you enter the site, you are still in the same
address, and clicking back and forward does not necessarily change the
screen.

So is the correct term screen, or is the correct term page?
I am the lone technical writer in the company so I have the authority to
change the terminology, and while it is a headache to go back and change
things it can be done.
