*UPDATE*: I see the VP of Communications with whom I was InMailing
yesterday viewed my LinkedIn profile, so at least they know I'm alive and
interested. In noting that she did this, I also discovered the identity of
the VP of HR for the entity in question, so just InMailed her as follows:

Hi <HR VP>,

I was contacted by <*recruiter*> at <*agency*> last Friday afternoon
regarding your open <*role*> position. Since my qualifications match the
requirements one-on-one and I'm keenly interested in all facets of <*entity*>
business matters, I'm excited about the possibility of working for <*entity*
>.

I verified Monday morning by phone that <*recruiter*> is in receipt of my
cover letter, resume and professional endorsements, but have otherwise yet
to hear back from her. Expecting some sort of follow-up from her prior to
doing so, yesterday I exchanged InMails with <*VP Comm*>. She recommended I
email your HR department regarding my interest, as the position does not
report to her. This I did yesterday afternoon, explaining that <*recruiter*> is
in receipt of my documents.

I do not know the status of the agency contract, so do not wish to step on
toes nor deprive <*recruiter*> of any deserved commission. That said,
neither do I want to be overlooked regarding this position. Can you please
suggest the best course of action for me to take at this point?

Best regards,

Chris Morton
