As I tried to illustrate in another post, some people's situations can cause them to quickly and deeply rely on such a "perk".

In that situation, where some perks are suddenly being revoked, attrition is going to occur. Can't say I would blame anyone for jumping ship under those circumstances.

I don't really understand why she has to throw the baby out with the bath water. If the object is to increase the innovation and idea generation that come with face-to-face meetings, why not start with a simple "in office"
day each week or each month where everybody has to be in the office? You could schedule brainstorming sessions and cross-team meetings - I'd go to those meetings, if they weren't a colossal waste of time.
But all I can see that she's going to get out of the current set-up is a lot of *seriously* pissed off people in cubicles doing jobs that they know perfectly well they can do from home.
