TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I haven't seen a decent "How to" article about it ... maybe I'll turn it
into a presentation at some point though.
Here are my impressions after working in a quasi-agile environment for 6
years, and a strict agile environment for almost 2:
- Attend the scrums/backlog reviews/reveals and SPEAK UP
- Make sure your stories and tasks are on the sprint and backlog lists
- Make sure that SME Review tasks are on the sprint/backlog lists
- Be prepared to write things piecemeal as they are developed - get SME
time as they are working on things, not afterwards
- If your organization does releases/collections, assemble your pieces
early
My 2¢
