If I were to suggest emacs (which is available for everything, including platforms that probably do not even exist) you would reject me as a religious zealot. Awwwright, so I'm a religious zealot, and it =does= take a bit of effort to learn emacs. I've never regretted it, except that I'm never able to convince the unwashed.
