The docs are there(written by disgrunted engineers). However, the accuracy and relevance as well as compliance is very poor. No dedicated resources are provided for this effort.

What are they transitioning from? Have they got a pile of docs written by engineers and temp writers, or are you in on the ground floor of a new start up as Writer #1 on Project #1?
