I'd be ultra careful recommending this Sharepoint application. I work for
a major engineering company. SP was forced on our business as a shared
tool. We found out the hard way what happens when a CMS is operated
without real technical admin(s). The solitary SP admin left, the wheels
started to wobble, and the whole thing came down. Everything was lost...

I guess I'm just too pessimistic. But when you come up with a wonderful
strategy, you will only get complaints. For this, you need a project
approach. This helps the company examine all aspects before going forward.
For example, is the current admin staff able to support a new server
possibly? What are the implementation and maintenance costs?
