If you don't have a lot of money, line the walls of your "sound room" with
egg cartons. I've used that method several times and they worked great. You
can paint them black if you want, but that is not necessary. Take your iPad
or a computer without a fan in with you so you can read the script and time
your graphs (segments). The sound room can be a box you've made, or an empty
closet.
