Atlanta Ken: We've been dealing with, single-digit days, had three snow
storms last week, and another one tomorrow.

As for a topic to talk about, welcome from "The Ice Capital of the
Southeast" -- Atlanta, Georgia! Today, a REAL ghost town.

It took THIS for me to be able to get permission to work from home today
(Wednesday) and probably tomorrow.

Here's a link to a local tv station

http://www.wsbtv.com/s/news/

While the whole area was shut down two weeks ago, they took heed when the
word came out that THIS event was to be even worse and with less snow but
more ice -- today, almost NO traffic anywhere (except for the local yahoos
who think it's cool to spin out and then total their 4-wheel-drive tanks).

It's been literally wall-to-wall, nonstop tv coverage of this thing which is
bad, but really not so bad as to demand total media coverage.

But then I'm originally from the Great White North where 30-degree winter
days with snow and ice are pretty much what you expect. (Been here 30 years
and still can't figure out why they still act this way.)

(Snowboarding, anyone?)
