At my last job, they were using RoboHelp to generate help from
FrameMaker source. We had some browser-specific problems with it, and
generally the output quality seemed dated and lame, so I evaluated
WebWorks ePublisher, and we ended up switching to it.

I thought the help looked much more professional and it seemed like
they had done a great job of making sure it worked well with all
browsers. Since the source was in FrameMaker I had no reason to check
ePublisher's PDF output so I can't speak to that.

It was also played well with source control. I only needed to check in
one file which contained all the settings and could be used to
re-create the project from scratch.
