"The first letter of the word is a full-height cap; the following letters are
small caps" would be one clear way to describe that. Another would be
"The first letter of the word is capitalized, and the remaining lowercase
letters are converted to small caps".

If appropriate, you might want to note that this style is automatically
produced when Microsoft Word is told to use the "Small caps" effect.

And an example showing the style would be worth a thousand words
describing it.
