Spring conference season occurs at roughly the same time as university
graduation season here in the US. Which makes for some occasional conflicts
in scheduling, and an awesome opportunity to wax philosophical about
transforming the future, rising to the challenge, and other such clichÃs.
But I wonât, other than to say congratulations to the members of
TechWhirlâs extended family who enter the real world this monthâ especially
Philip, Trevor and Christianâ weâre proud to be in the same families as you
guys! And to our many STC friends and colleagues, enjoy the Summit and
Phoenix, we know it will be grand.

Back in that real world I mentioned, TechWhirl officially launches our DITA
portal <http://techwhirl.com/darwin-information-typing-architecture/>. And
we offer up some new perspectives on working on remote teams, how content
authoring changes when you go to DITA, and some hot ideas from very cool
communications people around the web. As always, the TechWhirl community
ponders and debates â on the future of content and tech comm, tools, best
practices, and other items that have a high geek/coolness ratio. Register
for the forum<http://community.techwhirl.com/entry/register?Target=categories>or
subscribe
to the email list<http://www.techwr-l.com/frequently-asked-questions.html#subscribe>to
take part in the conversations. And donât forget to check
out the archives <http://www.techwr-l.com/> too.

Have a great weekend full of pomp and circumstance!
