1.   When does everyone get up in the morning for work?

Wake up time varies.  A lot.  Anywhere between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m.  Depends
on how late I was up the night before. if I'm working out, etc.

2.   If you drive to an office, how many miles is your commute?


My commute is 17 miles.  But it's "Boston area" traffic.  If I go in for
8:00 or 9:00 it takes 45 - 60 minutes.  More if there's an accident or any
kind of weather.  (And I do mean any weather, solar glare, rain, snow)  If
I go in for 10:00 - it takes me 30 - 35 minutes.  Thus, I go in for 10:00.

3.   How long is your work day?

I typically work 10:00 - 6:30 or 7:00.


This has pretty much been my standard hours for about a decade. I've worked
for several different employers who were fine with me arriving around
10:00, so long as I was in the office for core hours.  If I worked the
standard 9 - 5, I'd probably be losing an additional 5 - 7 hours a week to
traffic, so I'm grateful that most of the local software companies have
flexible hours.
