Now that I have attained that place in life where I don't have to work any more unless I want to, the short answer to all those questions is, "whatever I feel like." I'm not actively pursuing any gigs that would require me to be up in the middle of the night or be a road warrior, and I wonder if I have the patience to manage other people any more.
On the other hand, if someone were to call me up and dangle something really interesting in front of me, like another new bleeding edge technology start up, I might just change my mind and dive right in one more time. Never say never.
