Well, if it's brief, is it really necessary? I suppose this is all theoretical anyway since we don't have the actual document to discuss/analyze!

It could be a lot more basic, as in, no matter which way you're facing your back is always turned on half of the world.

Or, maybe it was an odd way for the person to flirt with you.

"It also briefly describes how to use those query results" doesn't sound like it would make much sense in a separate document. Plus if it's brief it's not going to do much to address the complaint.
