Re: free editor that can sort HTML tables?
The tables are already in Confluence. This comes up when an SME
drafted a table and didn't think to put it in any logical order, or
when a short table grows so long that it becomes hard for readers to
find what they're looking for.
My current workflow is:
- sort rendered table in Confluence
- copy table
- open word processor
- paste in word processor
- export to HTML
- open HTML in text editor
- strip out CSS
- copy table rows HTML
- edit source in Confluence
- select table rows HTML
- paste
What I'd like to do is:
- edit source in Confluence
- select and copy table rows
- open text editor
- paste
- sort
- copy
- switch back to Confluence and paste
