You don't say what industry sector you work in. If there are any standards for the one you are in, they are likely to be specific to that one only.

If there's a large base of existing documentation, I'd do a spot check of it, determine which ordering is the most commonly used and choose that one. It would require smallest amount of time and effort to unify the company's docs.
