MS Word Replace: Decrement each numerical value by 7?
Subject:MS Word Replace: Decrement each numerical value by 7? From:Chris Morton <salt -dot- morton -at- gmail -dot- com> To:"techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Sat, 13 Dec 2014 11:47:32 -0800
I have an document index file like so:
*A*
Abnormal Speed Detection Time, 67, 197
Abnormal Speed Settings, 197-198
Acc/Dec Base Frequency Adjustment, 63
Acc/Dec Pattern 2, 173
Accel/Decel 1 Settings, 82
Every referenced page number is seven more than the actual page where the
item appears. All page numbers are set in a typeface different from the
item being indexed (e.g., Acc/Dec Pattern 2).
I'm looking for a *Replace* sequence that will decrement each numerical
value by 7.
How to proceed?
Thanks
Chris
