Chris Morton asked how to number Appendices and their page numbers for , A
through E.
I want the title of each to read *Appendix {alpha} - {subject}*.
In each footer, I want the page number to read *{alpha} - **{page #}.*
How do I set this up?

Chris:
Set up a heading level that you won't use in the document, such as Heading
7, based on Heading 1, except with alphabetical numbering. Set your TofC to
make Heading 7 a first level heading. Set up your page number to include
section numbers, just as you did for the Heading 1 in the body of the
document. Word will resist, but I've done it in more than one version of
Word. Good luck.
