Get TurboTax Home & Business. It will help you figure out how much to
pay in estimated taxes to avoid penalties. There are lots of potential
deductions for 1099 income that are not available for W-2 income.
The forms are 1040-ES and 540-ES. The filing schedule is peculiar:
April, June, September, January.

I have never done this and I am at a loss on how to go about federal and calif state taxes. If anyone can give me some information or refer me to information on what to do I would appreciate it. I have been looking online and it is confusing to me at this point in time.
