At first I was a bit puzzled by why you needed our opinion on this, Chris.
You've got the chops to know better.

But then I remembered my last post, where I did leave, after agonizing for
quite a while. Frankly, I haven't been able to come up with a good excuse
about why I left; all the truthful bits sound like the things companies
don't want to hear from their employees. And I haven't found another post.

You can handle things better, and I wish you all the luck. Just LEAVE
already :-)
