which MOOC providers do employers like?

Does anyone have a sense as to which MOOC (massive open online course)
providers employers particularly respect? Which ones they don't especially

I am trying to develop my HTML5 and CSS3 skills, as my HTML knowledge was
rather antiquated. I audited an HTML5 course presented by W3C on edx, but
edx does not seem to have a lot of additional offerings in the area. I have
looked at a couple of specializations in HTML5/CSS3 on Coursera, but they
assume no prior HTML knowledge and I'm afraid I would be wasting my money
(and time) for at least the first part of the first couple of courses in the

I have found some interesting courses on udemy, but it looks to me as if
anyone can upload a course, and I'm wondering how much credibility they have
with employers or project managers who engage contractors.

And then what about Udacity? It appears that their courses are free unless
you want a Nanodegree, and the courses are ranked
beginning/intermediate/advanced. I think perhaps I saw Udacity mentioned
favorably here not too long ago.
