I think I saw them referred to as some kind of twirly thing, but I can't
exactly remember.

I usually say "click the arrow icon to expand the Fintoozler section"

I note that Flare calls these things "Drop-down hotspots" and instructs
users to click the link itself. It does seem more elegant to have them click
a word or link, as opposed to trying to click a
(probably) small icon.

Now that I think of it, I think ours work the same way, so the control is
the link, and the arrow icon is itself just an indicator that the section is
expanded/collapsed.
