The TechWr-L Chat list took over where Techcomm and a subsequent list left off several years ago around 2011. The admins didn't want it but after some persuasion on this list, they made a chat list with limited administration and no archives. The list has been mentioned here several times over the years when people engage in off-topic discussions.
