You might look into Nuance Power PDF.

Acrobat is not the only PDF tool, but at least it's expensive ;-)

Any recommendations for batch-conversions of PDF files to Word? I have
Acrobat X Standard, not Pro. Individual files are just File=>Save
As=>Microsoft Word, but when you're looking at hundreds of them...
