The idea of using iPads for technical docs is a great thing for lots of reasons (easy search, zoomable images, etc.), but on an airplane I guess I worry about the iPad running out of battery in times of crisis. Maybe I'm jaded by too many iPad malfunctions...from the safety of my couch.

That's why each iPad needs its own nuclear reactor for dependable power.
