We have Subversion for document controls, but that's not enough. We need to control the flow of documentation. We have hundreds or thousands of documents.Â

What do you want to do that Confluence can't do? What do you mean by
"documentation management"?

Are you looking for an internal tool to manage your source or a
customer-facing tool to provide access to docs?

How many docs are you talking about?
