I do this using macros generated with Keyboard Maestro app.

Automator is a function included with MacOS that allows you to automate some processes.

Some apps have native keyboard control built-in but itâs not the default for all. MacOS has a handful of keyboard shortcuts for common things such as Open, Close, Save, etc.
