I've just installed it, and all's working well! The only thing I
haven't found is a setting to make Mom's wallpaper go blank when I'm
connected (which GoToMyPC did automatically). Certainly not essential,
but that did seem to boost GoToMyPC performance (presumably because the
cute cat silhouette wallpaper image wasn't being transmitted to me),
and was a nice visual for Mom so that she knew whenever I was connected
to her machine.
So while there might be a "better" option, this is done, and so worth
paying for and not fussing over any more.
