TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Truth be told that since the time that I posted my rant I have been able to
discuss issues with the person involved and we have come up with good
solutions. If he now had access to the entire discussion in this forum, he
might find it of passing interest but he'd probably move on quickly to
things that interest him more. :-)
I don't feel a need to describe the entire situation except to say that
there were misunderstandings that went further than misunderstanding
between the two of us, that they came to light fairly quickly, and that I'm
back to focusing on the work at hand.
I am grateful for the support that I got from this forum, and I don't plan
to post additional rants here.
And, I do love writers!
