Yes, Jay.

I'm not an Illustrator user, per se. But I do have the rectangle on its own
layer. The triangle and circle are each on their own layers.

The rectangle is set as a registration (non-printing) border. And I see I
can set Export with background = transparent.

This may be all I need; I'm running a test now. The goal is to overlay the
rectangles in Word.
