Hello, WR-L-ers,
Graphics question time: for a black-background screen, how do you add
callouts to the screenshot when the targets need to be shapes
(generally rounded rectangles) around various portions of the
screenshot and/or lines to the applicable part, so likely light color
lines such as yellow/white, but the line at the callout text itself is
of course on a "white" doc page? (So imagine this screen,
[1]https://www.drexplain.com/software-documentation-tool/visual_effects
_and_styles.php?ms=AA==&mw=MzAw&st=MA==&sct=MTI3, except that its
colors are reversed: black with white text.)
To-date our screens have had white background, but we're considering a
giant change to black-backgrounds, and I just can't see how I'd manage
the callouts.
Interestingly, Snagit has a nice guide to making better visuals, but
the one example of a dark background that they include in this guide,
[2]https://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-snagit-10-ways-to-make-better-vis
uals.html, doesn't have any callouts :-(.
Any suggestions?
