I'm aware of Captivate, Camtasia, and Articulate. I used Captivate a few
years ago to create show-me and self-paced e-learning videos for software
products, but haven't used the other two. At the time Captivate seemed easy
to learn and with adequate design features for appearance, transitions, and
interactivity. You might want to seek out an instructional design forum for
more details.
