Re: SharePoint shared content
Hey Jay,
SharePoint is fun, once you understand where everything really is stored. It gets even more fun if the group has Teams too. Oh boy!
I mean this literally. At first I hated how easy MS makes it to just add content everywhere. But as I play with it I recognize patterns and can work more efficiently with it and provide guidance to others.
The organization whereÂI work has an unrealistic retention policy where they are not allowed to delete any SharePoint content, even if it was meant to be a boilerplate or test site. I told them it was a stupid policy to force content retention while the org is still dipping its feet into the pool. MS does NOT make it easy to move sites files from place to place.
Documents, on the other hand, are far more easier to manage. Then you can set up document lists on SharePoint pages to direct people to the specific content you think they want.

I'm helping with docs and info posted on a conglomeration of

As usual, it is comprised of pages and PDF docs.
I'm searching on 'shared content' on SP sites, and getting some hits,
but perhaps some of you folks have ideas - aside from 'don't do
that'? I
am not an admin, but those who are might listen.
Resources, experiences, and guidance welcome!
cheers
