I'm using the same sites I was using before I retired (LinkedIn, Indeed, Craigslist, etc.).

When I retired and moved to Portland I revised my online profiles to include the entirety of my work experience, including all that stuff from more than 10 years back that I used to leave out when I didn't want to announce to the world how old I really was, put a note at the top that I was open to P/T or short-term contracts only and ticked the matching "looking for" profile check boxes. I also sent resumes saying the same to the larger recruiting shops in the area (Adecco, Aerotech, Vanderhouwen).

Since then I've been getting anywhere from one or two to a dozen emails a weeks. mostly from multiple recruiters trying to fill the same couple of contract openings at one or another of this area's half-dozen largest tech/manufacturing companies. Pretty much all of the traffic originates from my LinkedIn and Indeed profiles and from the resume I occasionally republish to the local Craigslist.

It's probably been five years now since the last time I applied to a job I saw posted on any site.

Hello,

I need information on Websites listing part-time, contract, freelance writing/editing work. The work can be any kind of writing/editing/proofing (not just tech writing).

Can list members recommend any such sites? Or comment on their experiences with different sites?
