The on-line help in Microsoft Windows (3.1) allows user-defined bookmarks
and annotations. Bookmarks can be searched for by the name the user gives
'em; the presence of annotations is noted by the presence of a paperclip icon.
But I'll bet < 1% of Windows users know about these tools.
