We seem to have brought our software requirements down to the following Mac
products:
Aldus Freehand (for line drawings)
Adobe Photoshop (for touching up, converting to grey scale, and setting
resolution of bitmapped images)
Microsoft Word (very little used now, except for outlines)
FrameMaker (we've converted our docs to it from Word)
Quark XPress (likely to go the way Word has, now that the new version of
FrameMaker can do color separations).
