Another consideration on disablities is the completeness of online
documentation. I have a friend who is totally blind and has trouble with
many software packages because the online documentation isn't complete
or because of the growing trend towards GUIs (even in DOS-based applications)
and mouse-driven applications.
A few weeks ago, there was a discussions on the validity on online docs and
also on our responsibilities as tech writers to the disabled. Creating
comprehensive online docs is a start.
