Alas, yes... several companies that invested heavily in these
companies and have not yet either: 1) made the upgrade, or 2) transferred
material still on the old system to the new system, still do use them.
As a temp I have encountered several companies in the last year who still
use WordStar or Wang. One major military contractor, while changing over to
a system that combines MACs and PCs, still needs Wang proficient
individuals to work with older documentation. This company had invested
heavily in using the Wang system and now must change.
