Hi Jack,
Why don't you try FrameMaker for your SparcStation.
I have FrameMaker on a Sparcstation 2 at work
and FrameMaker for windows on my 486 at home. Speed
and functionality are pretty much the same and
the files are portable across platforms.
FrameMaker is great for producing long, technical
documents.
