Thanks, everyone, for your electronic applications (a great idea!) and
the other information I received. I just want to say that for the most
part I have really enjoyed interacting with the people on this list.
(Of course, there are exceptions to every rule!)
Now that I'm ready to make the case for membership with my boss,
can some of you help me think of good arguments for membership
paid for by my University? The ones I can think of "off the top
of my head" are:
1. Keeping up with documentation standards (I write software documentation
and polices & procedures)
2. Information about Copywrite restrictions
My main responsibilites are writing software documentation,
polices, and procedures, as well developing new forms, and
providing training for which I design the curriculum.
Thanks for your help.
