Marjorie Koutsandreas, a physical therapist and ergonmomics
consultant, will present a session on ergonomic tips for computer
users. Formerly the Director of Physical Medicine at Alexandria
Hospital, Marj now presents seminars, health fairs, and worksite
evaluations for corporations throughout the Washington, DC
metropolitan area. Her program includes information on workstation
design, terminal alignment, keyboard positioning, chair
adjustments, lighting, and posture. She will also provide tips and
demonstrate exercises to reduce muscle strain in the neck, back,
shoulders, elbows, and wrists.
The cost of the workshop includes hot hors d'oeuvres.
The Holiday Inn Silver Spring Plaza is located at the corner of
Spring Street and Georgia Avenue in downtown Silver Spring. From
the Capital Beltway, take Georgia Avenue south for approximately 1
mile to Spring Street. The hotel will be on your left. Free parking
is available at the hotel.
