In response to Chad's question (Why do some of us subscribe to the
list?), I subscribe to find out about Tech Writers in general. If
E-prime and active verbs concern professionals in tech writing, I want to
know about it.
Chad, I also attend Cal Poly and found out about the list after Ms.
DeMeritt forwarded one of the messages to her Corporate Communication
students last quarter.
Soon, I hope to enter the work place as a tech writer. And when I do, I
want to be aware of what tech writers "discuss." For now, this list
"connects" me to some of the issues professionals face.
