Just as a side note, in Britain (Alun, correct me if I'm wrong), it is
becoming common not to use a period (full stop) after any of the Mr., Mrs.,
and Ms. abbreviations (see for example, the editing style of the Guardian),
so there you could write Mr Mrs and Ms
