Here's a list of sources that may provide information about
table formats. Many of them come from William Horton's
"Illustrating Computer Documentation: The Art of Presenting
Information Graphically on Paper and Online" (Wiley & Sons, 1991).
I can't recommend any of these references because I don't have
them yet--but now that I have a list, I'm off to the library.
