Greetings
I have found that my wrist and hand problems are
slowly going away since I changed from a mouse to
a pen and tablet. The tablet has several advantages:

1) The pen puts my hand in a more natural position.

2) When I am doing lots of editing or drawing I
set the tablet on my lap. This seems to be
a more relaxing position.

3) The tablet I use (MacHandwriter) has some basic
handwriting recognition capibility. For simple
edits or entering data into dialog boxes I don't
have to go the the keyboard.

4) The pen has a "command" button which converts
what is written into a command. for example,
holding down the button and writing a "c"
will close a document. This is the same as
holding the command key and typing a "c"
