Subject:Temp/contract job (SF Bay Area) -- NOT MINE From:Ad absurdum per aspera <JTCHEW -at- LBL -dot- GOV> Date:Fri, 29 Jul 1994 21:45:08 GMT
RELAYED FOR A FRIEND -- not my job opening -- you're about
to find out everything I know!
A friend of mine needs some QUICK help in revising and updating
existing advanced-features manuals at a datacomm company.
The scope of work is "hard to explain over the phone,"
but they have two weeks. The fee is presumably proportional
to the size of miracle they want performed. The location is
the East Bay; don't know about the portability of the task
or their willingness to bring someone in from further afield.
It's a small but growing, newly public company; I would imagine
that impressing them might give you the inside track on future
opportunities. To learn more, call 415/388-0177 or -1012.
Cheers,
Joe
